We believe in the worth of active, unplugged, ocean adventures.
We are inspired by the incredible kayaking and stand up paddle boarding opportunities in Nova Scotia and Canada's East Coast. Based on the beautiful South Shore, we want you to experience the beautiful & varied coastline of the LaHave Islands archipelago from water level. You will feel a world away - just 1.5hrs from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Whether you are new to the ocean environment, or a salty adventurer, we can help! We are proud to offer a full range of professional quality kayaking and SUP paddle boarding services for novices and experienced outdoor folk alike. We offer guided day tours, Paddle Canada instruction, multi-day tours and Kayak and Stand up Paddle board rentals and sales.

We believe in small groups for an intimate experience on the water. We tailor our sea kayak and SUP tours to your experience level and interests, whether you're keen to visit our local seal populations, or spend some time having a relaxing picnic on an island beach. We also know local paddling conditions intimately in a variety of weather conditions. We are always adapting our plans so that you can have the best experience possible.

A great experience requires good gear. That's why we use top quality sea kayaks and paddle-boards for all of our tours and rentals. We also have a range of boards and boats in our fleet, so we can provide you with gear that is tailored to your experience level and body type.

From the moment you first contact us to your time on the water, we want your experience to be fun and hassle-free. Our office staff are here to help you plan the trip of a lifetime. Our sea kayak and SUP boarding guides are passionate and professional, with proven experience leading trips. All of our guides are accredited with Wilderness First Aid / First Responder as well as internationally recognized paddling certifications such as Paddle Canada, BCU, or equivalent.
Amazing Location & Environmental Commitment
We feel so fortunate to be located in a sheltered ocean cove that is within minutes from the LaHave Islands. From our launch, you can visit a stunning archipelago of over 21 islands - a true paddler's paradise! Some of these islands remain completely undeveloped and wild, home to a great diversity of coastal wildlife, flora and fauna. Other islands are home to historic off-grid homesteads and scenic fishing shacks, carefully kept by their loving present day owners.
With the privilege of operating here, comes a responsibility to help protect the beauty of our coastal home.
We aim to reduce the impact of our day to day operations by practicing Leave No Trace principles on all of our trips. We also encourage our guests to use reusable water bottles, and offer free water refills. Our day tour snacks and menus for our multi-day trips are driven by local, low-impact foods, and we are happy to support similarly-minded businesses in our provisioning.
In addition, we support the work of local conservation groups, we organize coastal clean ups and we educate our guests about the environmental challenges faced by the places we have the privilege to visit.
We consider ourselves stewards and defenders of the places we travel.
